What's in it?
Castor oil is pressed from the seeds of the Ricinus communis plant. It hydrates and conditions the skin (and hair), and also helps cleanse and soothe irritated skin. Castor oil has been used medicinally around the world for thousands of years, mainly to treat skin conditions such as eczema or psoriasis, but also to treat burns or acne. The plant is known for its antibacterial and soothing properties. This is mainly due to the presence of ricinoleic acid in the seeds, an anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial fatty acid.

Rhus Succedanea Fruit Cera, Helianthus Annuus Seed Cera, Shorea Robusta Resin, Rhus Verniciflua Peel Cera
A specially developed combination of vegetable waxes as a vegetable replacement for beeswax. For massages and concentrated treatment of painful muscles and joints. The combination consists of:
  • A Japanese vegetable fruit wax. It has the same properties as beeswax, but vegetable.
  • Sunflower wax, a beautiful vegetable wax.
  • Salboom is also a vegetable wax that acts like beeswax and is therefore very suitable for concentrated application.
  • Berry wax.
Cajeput oil: Known for its warming effect, it quickly produces a feeling of warmth. Did you know that Cajeput oil is also used for colds, headaches and throat infections?
Siberian Spruce Needle Oil: Distilled from the needles and branches of the spruce tree, it is commonly used in massage oils to create soothing comfort after strenuous activity. Due to the relatively high level of bornyl acetate, this ingredient has a calming effect (on inflammatory processes).
Laurel oil: Has an antiseptic, antibacterial, antifungal and calming effect. Also widely used for inhaling colds and flu. And don't forget the Aleppo soap. In aromatherapy it is also used for muscle pain and strain.
Jojoba oil: Has the same properties as the skin's own lipids in the upper skin layer, very good basis for massage oil.
Camphor: Helps breathe more freely and makes stiff muscles supple again, the smell alone is reminiscent of the balms and ointments of the past, when doctors still walked around with herbal mixtures :-) Is also widely used to treat the muscles after exercise, is therefore often found in muscle oil and athletes like to use it after an intensive grudge-out. Camphor helps you recover after physical exertion and makes stiff muscles wonderfully supple again.
Clove oil: Extracted from the flower buds and leaves of the clove tree, it adds a warm and aromatic note to the fragrance and has a stimulating, analgesic and antiseptic effect on the skin. Has intensive warming properties and is therefore very suitable as a warming oil for the muscles. The heat promotes blood circulation, allowing your muscles to relax deeply.
Wintergreen: Naturally contains a lot of methyl salicylate, therefore good for muscle and joint pain. Wintergreen specifically supports joint pain and pain related to inflammation. It is therefore often used in massage oil. Wintergreen also has an anti-inflammatory effect on the skin.
Rosemary oil: Popular essential oil used in muscle oil.
Tree of life extract: Antimicrobial and soothing.
